just a quick up date took wife to work got to the top of Marlow hill and low a behold smoke and burnt oil smell now i haven't a clue now
but once againthank you for every bodies help at the meet but it looks like my nightmare continues

You need to give it time to burn off the spilt oil that you had all over the place  :y

just had a look oil still leaking on manifold can see it wet  on drivers side when engine cooler will check pasenger side

Agreed, if it were still leaking, that would have been apparent yesterday as it was running for a good while without issue, and although it got up to temperature, driving it would have added load which would raise the temp up.

I would give it a while yet... :y

Not sure what's going on there then, as it was oil tight yesterday :-\
