It can be done, requires an MDI and enabling using the SPS setup.

And Tunnie, its called Marketing.......e.g. creating a distinct variation in features across a model range......you know, a bit like Sky do with their channel packages  :y

I get that, just don't get why it has cruise and lots of other things, but not a basic feature?

Like Sky doing the 'Essential Package', but leaving out ITV'  ;D
No more Corrie? Now there's an idea.

It probably does, Mr Tunnie.

It's more likely that dear old Steve can't find his glasses to read the handbook properly. :D ;)

He is quite elderly you know. ::)
Least I've shagged my sister in law  :P

Cruise makes some sense as its steering wheel mounted controls hence you have a single steering wheel design that fits all models which has specific cruise buttons.....so you might as well turn them on.

The is not specific controls to confuse the user with the BC and hence it gets disabled.  :y

Where can I buy an MDI and an SPS. Will eBay have them?  ;D

I take it the MDI is some sort of interface which will allow access to the appropriate settings ?

Yes, MDI is the interface and the Service Program System resides in modern day TIS.....and yes yu can buy them on eBay, if your feeling flush.

A good dealer should be able to enable it in no time, I can provide instructions if they are totally thick.....
