Transfering petrol
« on: 19 June 2015, 17:37:32 »

How do I (safely) get the petrol from the broken car to the working one? (I filled it up 5 mins before I broke it)

Pop the hose off the frontmost end of the fuel filter. Clamp on a length of fuel hose leading to the filler neck. Run the fuel pump in the broken one. Obviously you need to wedge open the anti siphon flap.

Will either work brilliantly, or go spectacularly wrong.

I picked up a length of pipe from halfords cost 4 pound .
Thin pipe stuck it down the neck of the fuel tank and squeezed it a few times to draw the fuel up straight into jerry can sand in to another car . Took some time as small thin pipe but worked a treat .

The Jiggler Hose works well on the Omega tank as you can easily push it into the tank and and still jiggle it, (the hose with the ball bearing on the end type of thing). Ive emptied a near full tank in less the 30 mins.
