This is a common type of question.
Are they posted 'cos you (a French Vous rather than tu  ;)) don't trust your local dealer to serve the correct parts? Or just cos you don't think your dealer will be able to find the part at all without help?

I think you mean 'on', the vous is the formal respectful usage and tu is the familiar usage......  ::) ::) ::)

I find it easier to give the dealer the part number, then ask whats that called to make sure its right.

If i just ask for what i want, it takes a dealer ages!

Bridge are fine, just say what you need, both the blokes there are pretty good, as is the lady who occasionally answers.

Don't buy 2nd hand cruise stalks, they don't last.  As they are only £30 new, pointless spending a tenner now, then again next year.

What happens when they get older is the full beam comes on intermittently when you don't expect it - not only does this get you in arguments with other drivers, it also creates a situation where people think you are flashing them to let them out.

Buy new.

Does anybody have the part number for the cruise stalk to fit a 2.2CD Est on an X plate?
I phoned my local stealer and he just said "that model doesn't have cruise on it"
He didn't seem to be able to grasp that I wanted to upgrade!

fully agree with that.had it happen a while back. even had people dropping back behind me so they could shine full beam through my back window like i had done to them  :-[...potentially dangerous as well. :y
