Right. While dropping subframes and trailing arms, the movements have shown both brake pipes (from flexi towards the front of the car) to have faied. Pinhole leaks on both.

I already have the flexis to replace, so I'm not too stressed. How far toward the front of the car do they go? Rear subframe is already resting on blocks so I might as well do the job now. Are the brake pipes available as one part from dealer or aftermarket, or am I better off removing the whole things and taking them to a local factor to get made up?

Buy the kit of ebay,pipe ,fittings,pipe bender,mini pipe cutter and flaring tool,might need 2 lots of pipe to save on unnecessary joints on the long run

Anyhow, brake pipe making kit all ordered, it will either go swimmingly or I'll end up in casualty with the poshest IV drip ever...

I seem to recall that the pipe has to be continuous from end to end, no joins or joints allowed.

As above, make your own. Or take them off and most decent motor factors will make them up. One tip, if you are using motor factors and you can't remove the entire pipe in one hit, then mark one side with a marker pen and then cut with pliers. It makes orientation when copying them easier. I thought it was better to pipe cut them in my youth, which makes it a PITA to work out which way around they go - you live and learn. I make my own now.

Same.  Made my own too. Very easy with the flaring kit and a pipe bender.
