SONY DAVIS10 is a very nice unit and the speakers would actually suit a bedroom better than most.

Am not sure if it is the unit for me though, size wise it is spot on.  But I am after an amp or reciever that will take my 5.1 Div-x player and also give me the chance to add the 5.1 output of my PC

I would go with the Sony but not sure it has the extra inputs.  But will at least try and find a store locally that sells it to go have  look and listen.

Also had a browse through the recievers the web site sells and looked at a Yanaha DAB Reciever.  Allthough physically too big for my plans I was impressed the the sellers priceing.  Checked it out else where and was £60/100 cheaper than anyone else.

It has optical, coax and analogue inputs....so can take the bit stream from the PC or external player.
