He hasn't got a car with him . Earlier he said he was away from home 4 or 5days. Even with fuel so cheap he uses shanks,s pony. No built in cigar lighter on those or 240v invertors.

I am beginning to think two of those original items in a supermarket trolley would be ideal.

Ah I assumed he was driving around.  ::)  ;D

I use a 8.8Ahr one. Handy.

I think all the EE ones were eventually recalled for various reasons.

I use one of these when away from power.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/50000mAh-Dual-USB-Portable-External-Power-Bank-Battery-Charger-For-Mobile-Phone-/381252303705?hash=item58c4687b59:g:53MAAOSwu4BVl~Ch

Doesnt like 2 high power devices at once, but stick to one and its fine.

For 11 quid, I thought i'd give this one a try  :y

Thinking of using the caravan as a base this year and pishing off with the tent (if I can find it under all the shite in the loft) if the weather is okay so should come in handy for that too  :y

Cheers Lads  :)

Not sure I'd trust Lithium Ion or Lithium Polymer batteries from egay.  That probably is the way to win a Darwin Award.  Other suppliers available.

Sadly, money paid last night and it should be here before the weekend.
Can only see what happens I suppose  ::)

Best dig out that dry powder fire extinguisher later  ;D

I need that head versus wall smiley ;D

Ensure when charging, its under constant supervision, and frequently checking if its getting warm. Also, only charge a room temp, and on solid surfaces like a kitchen worktop (not carpet/sofa/bed/tablecloth).

What you possibly go wrong with Ebay power sounders chargers? ::) ::) ::)

Palettes of them as cargo on passenger flights are getting more and more restricted or banned by the more responsible airlines. When one ignites, guess what happens to the rest? :o :o :o

There you go, 39 quid from Halfrauds, probably charge your phone for 6 months of one of these.

My first works phone, IIRC a Cellnet Ruby, but basically likes Zirks pic a few posts above, ended up in the glovebox one day when I braked hard.  I didn't even need to open glovebox first.
