It was perfect before.. when i reasembled it after new motor replacement i greased up the balljoints and all went back in and worked just fine.

Think i will have to remove the entire assembly and check the nut hasnt come loose.

Just noticed while out driving that the wipers travel further while going up and down aswell as stopping in the middle when switching off...

Well its all sorted now.. motor was fine.. just needed to re-align the lever on top of the motor to various markings on the casting and all is now a right bobby dazzler... thanks to all that replied to this problem and to jimbob for putting up the " how to" link....
