Electric window motor lubrication

What's the best to use for lubricating the electric window sliders/cogs etc? Having replaced my FNS door, the new door is slower to go up than the driver's, which was always a tad slower than the others in the first place!

If lubrication doesn't help then replacing the motor seems the next step, but hoping that it's just meeting some resistance, not tired.

Two options might help - PoundWORLD do a pikey aerosol of white grease which I've found to be great ot WD40 now do an aerosol of PTFE dry lubgricant if you want to avoid the downside of grease, i.e. it picks up crap debris from its surroundings.

Yep agree vaseline will reduce friction and let it slide up and down no matter how much you play with it ;D ;D ;D

To be clear... motor/cables/pulleys use grease/vaseline/lard... *hell even a light brushing of old engine oil will do it

For the frames, you're better off using a silicone spray as grease tends to make a mess of the glass ::)

Using old engine oil elsewhere will most likely cause it to drop off, or at the very least cause long term skin complaints. In this case vaseline will probably be ok, although summat water based would be better... :D
