Rear cigarette lighter / accessory socket
« on: 09 June 2016, 20:24:00 »

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone could help me figure out how to fix my rear cigarette lighter. There is no voltage across the terminals if the ignition is on or when the engine is running.

I found some information on the old site already, so I've checked fuses F7,F27,F29. They are all intact and work perfectly.

If I understand correctly, there are two relays K153 and K154 to check. The problem is I can't locate them, I removed the panel under the steering column (just above the pedals) and there aren't any relays there. Where else can they be on a 2000 (facelift) 2.0 CD omega?

On my V6 there are more relays near the battery, don't know what they control though or if the 4 pot is the same.

Relay should be under the bank of fuses. Two screws to remove fusebank then should be visible. Timer relay was fitted post 2001
