Sky router problems
« on: 27 September 2016, 22:17:37 »

The signal on my router was weak, so I logged on and changed the channel from auto to 7, just to see if it was any better. I immediately lost my wireless connection and now the power light is lit but nothing else. I've tried to switch the power off and on and pressed the reboot button on the back....still nothing but the power light. The telephone has dial tone.

Any ideas, please?

Weak signal is normally due to poor attenuation, repositioning the box would be an option.  I usually use a WiFi analyser before changing the channel on mine.

Did you hold the reset button long enough?  From memory it's a count to 10 twice with elephants job.......
