Top 100
« on: 06 November 2016, 10:34:05 »

In 2004 PC magazine did a poll to find the top 100 best loved classics, they've repeated the exercise again this year. The highest placed GM product is the Opel Manta[up in places to number 21].Highest Vauxhall[a new entry]is the Firenza at number 30,the Cavalier[another new entry]is next at 66,the Viva at 82 is down places and as far as GM products are concerned that's your lot.No mention of any of the big Vauxhalls/Opels,while such gems as the Allegro-a new entry at 88- and the Austin 3 litre-another new entry at 86 make it into the 100.The top car is now-as it was 12yrs ago-is the Morris Minor.

Says a lot about their readership TBH, assuming it wasn't skewed.

Might be that ease of ownership and simplicity stirred in with a good hefty dollop of nostalgia has blurred the perception of those questioned... ::)
