Mine didn`t, can`t see why no ABS signal would have a bearing on the power steering?

The steering is speed sensitive  :y ..... it needs its signal from somewhere  ;) I once lost the speedo for a very short time on my Omega, but as it fixed itself I didn't need to explore the fault any further

I think the steering weights up with speed so I would think it would just remain at default if there was a problem. Can`t say I noticed any difference with my car when it had the fault.

Can`t say I noticed any difference with my car when it had the fault.

Probably no difference for a roughty tuffty builder  ;)
