Just got one of those mini laptops for the missus for her B'day and its fantastic!  The new Advent one.......

.....plus its got an 80gig HD :

much better than the PC eee thingy imho

I was thinking about the eePC but it was the HD space that made me think twice, then I saw this.  She needs her own music library to stop her messing with mine lists in iTunes

It doesnt have a dvd player its that small so I got her an external dvd drive to go with it and its twice the size of the lappy!

In all fairness I would rip the films to ipod format and watch it in itunes, the quality would be good enough as you wont need the typical dxiv or xvid quality

Got a good SD card so not so bad.... fat fingers and poor eysight just make things worse
