One more night shift to go!
« on: 08 September 2008, 12:12:05 »

ive got one more shift to go before my well deserved week off! will finally get the chance to give the mig some major TLC. ive been behinde the wheel of a muisubushi L200 for 14 hours a day for the past few weeks. i now officially hate that car and can safely say its the worst car i have drove! its been about a month now since the last time i washed or hoovered the mig, its covered in a thick grime and bird doings... not good

also ill get the chance to order a few parts, the main ones being front and rear shocks. going to give the rears a go my self, dosent look like too much of a job. ive got a pair of wish bones which need fitting as wall as the front shocks but not too sure about them  :-/

looks like most of my time off is going to be spent under the car, no rest for the wicked!

Snips... I'm a bit busy at the moment but I'm more than happy to lend a hand with the wishbones and front shocks when time allows... I've got the all important spring assister's too!! :y :y

I take it that means you're all better after the op now?

just parted with £330 at masterfit! 2 self levelers, 2 front shocks, 2 rods (cant remember the propper name but was recomended to replace them by REME) fuel and oil filters and nuts and botls. then popped in to a tyre fitters on the way back to check the tread... lets say they was..ermm.. very illegal!  :-/so that was another £150 for 2 rears.

so all in all £480 ive parted with today :-[ could of bought a half decent ford... never! :y

while the car was jacked up i had a look at the 'corroding' springs and break pipes, which masterfit noticed. all thats wrongs is the plastic coating is flacking at the base of the springs and the pipes are covered in grime.  :o
