IMHO the Halfrauds ones aren't all that good... I had real problems with the one I had in my Veccy. Personally I'd advise getting either a Nokia one or, from other recommendations, a Parrot one. The Nokia CK-7, which I never had any problems with, even in an old Range Rover, can be had on Fleabay for a very good price. Think I paid about £35 delivered for a brand new kit last time I bought one

will the nokia kit work with other phones or just nokias/

As long as you've got Bluetooth kit and, obviously, phone it'll be fine

The Nokia works well with Nokia certified Nokia phones.  It does not work well with non Nokia phones, as I have found out to my cost  

Nokia believe the echo cancellation technology should be built into the phone.  Everyone else reckons it should be built into carkit.  So a non Nokia phone (or a non certified Nokia phone) on a Nokia carkit causes an awful echo to the other party.

The person in the car doesn't hear it, its the poor sod at other end.  Nokia's published solution is only use the CK-7W with phones it's certified to work with. Their unofficial solution, turn volume right down.

I never had any complaints when I used it... I did with the Halfrauds one though!!

Recently bought the Tesco vesion (sun visor mount) BT hands free - sound great to me, but apparently the person on the other ends keeps hearing their own echo..

What did i expect for £20!!  Handy for listening to voicemails, i guess!
