No long then  :y

Our delivery date got moved around a fair bit but was on a much longer timeline than yours to begin with (c9months iirc). I'm also intrigued what you're planning to tow. 0-60 tests with the caravan attached?  ;D

Mostly ticked for the bike carrying option, we have a roof rack for the Zafira, but lifting bikes up there is a pain.

Towbar mounted racks look much easier and also don't have to keep a roof rack on there all the time. Fitting roof rack takes time, hammers mpg when not in use etc.

Bonus is I could rent a trailer locally for camping trips and take a load more stuff!

Check carefully as most sparks cannot install chargers (requires C&G 2921 or equivalent, and some specialist test kit) and many of the charger suppliers require a certificate to enable the smart capabilities and warranty on them

He is fully authorised and mentioned how they now check every single install. He stopped doing them for a while, because they kept changing the rules.

Other option is getting it via Octopus, I need to check actually if they allow another company to do it.

We have the Octopussy 'Zappi' fitted. Works well enough and comes with a 3 year warranty. £999....although free charger deals can be had.

Just noticed. Another 2 free hours of electricity tomorrow 12-2. :y

We also had Octopus do ours and can't fault them. Came when they said (initial am/pm slot with a call 30mins before arrival), did a good job and when I had an issue with my smart charger - lost signal so was no longer "smart" they came out and replaced the unit with the same level of service  :y

I can't speak to cost as the charger came as a package with the car, so it was "free".

So me, a man without a pot to piss in, has to pay £1000..... and you, a man with unlimited wealth, gets it for free. ::) >:D ;)

Life is so unfair. ::)
