X25xe Thermostat
« on: 27 April 2026, 16:44:07 »

Probably a daft question but whilst I'm doing a cambelt change can I replace the thermostat through this gap?
Thanks John.

Nope.

If you pull the tube out, you might just get enough movement out of it to see the thermostat clearly but you'll not have space to undo the bolt you can't see and also if something goes awry you'll be stripping the intake off it anyway. May as well as well go in from the top straight away rather than waste a couple of hours wishing you hadn't tried.
