Thanks - that's the chap local to me who gave me the new loom albeit for an earlier (1994 on) car which is quite different.
I've managed to find a loom of the correct ident no / part no from another seller - it's from a scrapper, and I'm just waiting for some photos of the condition of the large block connector as water ingress causing pin corrosion  seems to be quite common.
As an alternative, I may be able to salvage some of the pins from the one I acquired to repair my existing one.
Dispite suggestions of all looms being basically the same, one from a 2000 FL Elite I found for example, was noticeably different, both in the pins in the door connector, and the pins in the electric mirror plug....
I'm holding out for a good one of the same ident no, or repairing my own, if only to ensure all will work as originally intended.

I've now established there are minor differences in the smaller pins in the early model connector so that's a non starter.
Apparantly the RH door harness from a LHD Opel Omega is also suitable - as long as it has the ident A2J, p/n 09146837.
There are a couple of passenger harnesses on Ebay, but not the correct ones with quite a difference in the pin layout / orientation.
Unless I risk one on a website in Belarus......
