Yes it is.  TC price is a shade under £4 + VAT for this filter.  Not that you would know seeing as you never bought one, and nicked my spare

I have a box of 20 of them in the garage (down to around 12 now)... I am sure i only paid £20 something for the box  :-/

I'll bet a left gonad that you didn't buy 20 GM cartridge type filters for around £20. Never in a month of Sundays.  TC price is around £4 + VAT each, so at best, 20 will be £60-£70...

...and added to that, seeing as you only have 1 car that takes cartridge type filters, you wouldn't buy that many anyway.

Keep seeing £4 mentioned for an oil Filter.  Trade Club price is still £1.22

2.6/3.2 and all diesels are more exspensive.

All V6's from around 1999 (so includes later prefacelifts, and early facelifts which are 2.5/3.0) take the expensive paper element filter.

All V6's from around 1999 (so includes later prefacelifts, and early facelifts which are 2.5/3.0) take the expensive paper element filter.

Better check both of mine before buying filters then. Just assumed they would have been the cheap ones.  Both cars are 99 2.5 (V) anf the 3.0 (T)
