I can see now....you've pointed it out MJ...i thought it was an optical illusion the marked out areas were different in size.....tho your bloody council should have painted them in RED to show it wasnt a parking area....easy mistake to make if no other signs up!

Funny but in Annan, there is a zebra crossing with a bus stop on it  
Story goes, the nearby school ran a competition and the winner was allowed to say where they wanted the zebra crossing for the school..... some little darling won and apparantely no-one wanted to upset said little person so they put the zebra at the bus stop  on the corner too and its supposed to be the only zebra crossing in the uk you can legally stop on ( in a bus only of course!)
That is what my mentor told me when route learining me anyhow!?
