Much easier than changing the camcover gaskets...

Seriously, the disassembly is quite simple, but actually getting the muck out of the buggers is something else.  

Ayt one point of time I was considering simply buying new bits from Vx so i don't have to clean them, but I didn't (I am stingy, you see). So I spent 2 hours with a pipe cleaner instead

I'd rather spend hours cleaning stuff tbh   As once said by Del Trotter, I'm an arthodox tight ar*e.

I bought two aerosol cans of Halfords Carb cleaner LSG and simply blasted the muck out with those leaving all components soaking in between 'blasts' for a while.  

It appears to have worked so far, and the muck that came out!!!
