I read some interesting facts yesterday regarding the infamous selling of gold reserves by Gormless.
He sold 395 tons of gold reserves as chancellor raising £1.9 billion.
At todays prices 395 tons of gold would raise £5.7 billion.
so thats a difference of £3.8 billion,Interestingly the amount lost on black wednesday,which made Norman Lamont possibly the most ridiculed chancellor in living memory was £3.4 billion.
This is the man who we are told is going to repair the world economy.
Isnt spin a wonderful thing.

the good old Bush family and those lovely Bin Ladens go way back - funny the media never seems to mention this embarrassing detail!

Did you know a private jet was allowed to leave the USA on September 19th 2001 after the attacks - it was carrying 13 of the Bin Laden family - now as Osama was the No1 suspect - don't you think that ANY members of his immediate family in the US would be worth questioning?

One call to that nice Mr Bush later.......
