i would be sceptical about it actually doing anything to improve performance.  It might just use more petrol to make a louder noise thusa giving the impression of better performance...buyer beware  :y

Same as my exhaust & induction kit. I'm happy to be looked down on by those sensible folk in quiet cars. Still purrs as quietly as yours driven gently so ok to take Granny to church.
Otherwise, what's wrong with a bit of noise? :D

lol I have a sabrepower custom stainless backbox and I just ordered a new pipercross foam panel filter for under 40 quid....

should sound pretty good :)

I just dont want to spend £60 on a computer chip and have it do nothing more than squirt more petrol in the engine...

most of the chips i have come across will/do improve the performance, but to the figures quoted, i doubt it very much....

if it gives an extra 10/15 bhp then it is money well spent i would say

LOL with the drastically reducing costs of MV6s these days I'm actually considering buying a second one and doing just that :D

The ideal would be to put a 3.2 on a 3.0's manual box with all the mv6 running gear in the cheapest 2.0's body available, one that has no climate control etc, weld up the back doors to reduce body twist and remove ALL the interior except for a nice recaro driver's seat. (not necessarily in that order lol)

add sports exhaust, chip, filter and maybe a supercharger and you've got yourself one nippy miggy!
