Bread bags - 4 off

Put one inside out inside another - waterproof and cold proof outer gloves, I used to get laughed at but I had warm dry hands ;D

Water will always find a way in wet crotch is horrid.

In snow warm feet and hands more important.

Yes I have ridden in 1 foot deep snow

Me too, warm(er) hands though. Never tried it on a bike myself. Dont think sweat will be too much of a problem sat still on a bike in this weather, but maybe something to try once the test is done.

Chop a tiny little bit off each finger tip to let the glove breath at both ends.  The holes wont make that much difference.

Pretty sure sign your gear is getting tired and needs renewing (or respraying in some cases).

I used to travel to Cirencester from here in the tipping rain, maybe a bit damp arounf collar, and around cuffs, nothing worse

Yeah i should think so, the inner glove feels very soft but plenty of space in there. They are supposed to be water proof and at £80 they better bloody be or i am taking them back!

Bike errr yes, not got that bit yet!  ::)

Basically i have my DAS starting on Saturday, and the rental gear did not fit me that well. So i got all the gear, was only meant to be the boots but decided to get the rest.

Boots actually were almost a big problem, he said he does not normally carry stuff my size  :o

It was a nice shop with a huge range, but he said he normally only carrys sizes 9/10, and my size 12's could be an issue.

Lucky he had a few pairs in different styles, i settled for the more comfy ones, don't care on the looks.
