had fun on the drive home!
« on: 09 February 2009, 20:16:00 »

Went to turn into my road, did a slow smooth swing in, damn thing just kept on going straight, all the slush was not helping, very nearly ended up in someones front garden!  :o

Then when on my road, my speedo said i was doing 20mph.... considering i was almost stationary i began to think i was not getting any traction  ::)

I had my speedo up too 30mph and was stood still......parked up on the side garden last night, nice hard frozen ground.

This afternoon after everything started too thaw the ground was ever so slightly boggy.

10 minutes of not going anywhere and wheels digging deeper and deeper i had too get the wife too help push me,only problem i didnt explain i was going too rock the car back and forth (2nd/reverse/2nd ect) so while she was pushing with all her might i rocked it back....nearly sent her flying.

Give her credit for a small woman she done well. :y

Beastie's been laid up this winter, BM sold so i've been using the Cortina, fun if you want it but get's through if you take it easy, even starts up & defrosts on an icy morning!! 8-)
