house spotlights

got a couple of these lights that go on when somebody walks up the drive and one of the bulbs has gone.the bulb is 500 watt and i just wonderd can i fit a smaller wattage and be a bit greener?

Just checked out a few bulb manufactureres sites......225W is the lowest in 118mm
