Just can't stay away from migs
« on: 06 March 2009, 08:31:54 »

After selling my mv6 9 months ago thinking it would be my last omega. I have just bought my 5th omega after searching for a good family car for a month I have bought a 53 plate 2.2 cdx estate. Its mint condition with the only problem found so far is there might be a problem with the radio stuck in safe mode but hoping it just needs time to reset.
Anyway its nice to be back in the mig community again.

The wait states may be up to 640mins, and must be uninterrupted :o

Though it could well be that it has used up its 10 lives.....

Presumably, its a ccr2006?

When I turn it on holding the as button it says 7 safe which i think means it has 7 attempts left so i guess i will just have to leave it on and wait.

Yup :y

seem to recall that wait state will be around 20m.  It then doubles with every wrong answer

Its been on undisturbed for 2 hours and nothing yet so I think I,m going to take it out and put a permanent live to it the garage overnight and see what happens, won't be able to do it untill tommorrow though.

I have got it so I could enter the code which I did of the pass card and it went down to 6 attempts left which would now lead me to believe its not the original stereo
