Been Busy
« on: 06 March 2009, 14:54:11 »

Well i've been busy changing the camshaft sensor .... all was well till i removed the dis pack and suprise suprise i couldn't see the plugs for oil  :-/ ...... so i proceeded to do the breathers and cam cover gasket aswell as i had one anyway ...... what did suprise me was it was running quite well ( apart from my P0420 code ) . There was no misfire or any symptoms at all . Breathers were totally blocked  :o :o ... only one i couldnt get off was the small narrow one that was going to the throttle body ... couldnt get it of the cam cover  :-/ , i felt it would break if i tried to pull any harder , so i'll order a new one and change it ....cleaned everything with carb cleaner including the rubbers on the dis pack ... this is a big thing for me as im not good with cars and im quite pleased with myself for doing it without any problems and my working on cars confidence is growing now  :y...  going out for a run to test her now and hopefully should be ok  :y
