swap section
« on: 07 March 2009, 13:00:23 »

How about a parts/car swap section.
A lot of people do not have alot of cash lying around at the moment but may well have some parts that may be of interest to someone else and vice versa. :y

Personally, I can see that being double trouble - they normal For Sale areas take too much admin focus as it is.

But we will discuss it amongst the admin team.

In the end it all comes down to people's honesty but thanks for taking it into consideration  :y

As can be seen from the sticky in the for sale area - http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1209069730 - we do have problems (and they are only the ones that need to get escalated that far).

And, yes, I am on the bad boyz list  :-[

Maybe admin would allow ""i have xyz too swap for...."" post in the sale section if the poster had the needed amounts of posts.

At least the matter is resolved   ;)

I can see where you're coming from though.

I have been selling and buying on Ebay for a number of years now and it is almost impossible not to have a dispute once or twice a year

TBH, its not something that i would be clamouring to have sometime soon, purely from an admin viewpoint.  Enough grief and crud on here at the best of times without adding to it....   :-X

Dont you think that would cause problems though.

Coz once most members have swapped thier wives for Omega parts then they wont have some one to make the bed or do the pots. ;D ;D
