Swapping seats...

Im looking at swapping the cloth seats (full memory) out of my Elite and replacing them with Leather from a CDX (same age cars).

Am i correct in thinking its a staright foward swap regards electrics....just plug and play type thing. :-/

Had a quick look at TB"s post in FAQ but still unsure.. ::)

you will end up with less functions on the CDX seats, hey only have electric height adjustment on them, the rest is manual....

Don't think so.
Wouldn't fitting CDX seats lose your full electric memory though?
If I had the seats you've got, I'd consider swapping the leather onto your electric seat frames. I've not done the upright/back of a seat, but the cover comes off the base relatively easily.

I reckon it could be done. The seat would have to be removed & split into two ie base & back.

Have a look here ...... http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1192830810 this is for heater pads, and will give you an idea of how to remove the base cover.

elite have full memory electric heated seats
