Seriously it sounds as though it is going into 'safe mode' to protect a component(s) after something has failed.   With my old wide screen TV it does that if the colour balance is set too high, usually biased to red.

Cheers Lizzie,  violence was my first thought also - but the way my lucks going at the mo it`ll probly give me a slap back!!! . Well they say it comes in 3`s, first the mig   now the telly    wonder whats next? :-/

Hmmm, Samsung are on my shitlist after the hassles I had with my telly.  Now they have looked like they have actually fixed it (6 months with no problems), I am really pleased with it.

Just wish I could change the order of the sources when you press the source button
