Just an idea, please feel free to shoot it down in flames As an additional help to the 4 main admins would it help to have say 2 or 3 forum moderators? These would have a lot less power than the admins, just with the ability to move/delete/lock posts. Just thought it might take a bit of the pressure off the admins is all.

Not a bad idea at all Welung, although, like the admins themselves, they would need the judgement skills of King Solomon.

But it could be done, to stop the speedy deterioration into rudeness, nastiness and pure obscenity we have regrettably seen recently.

Somethings got to change and Forum Member Moderators could well be the answer! 8-) 8-)  But who?? :-? :-?

That would be the decision of TB and the crew. It was done on a classic car forum I use (infrequently now) by the 2 main admins as it was quickly spiraling out of their control (not that that's happening here) but adding 4 moderators changed the board completely for the better.

In principle it could be a good idea.Might take some pressure/hassle off. :-/
The members would have to be chosen very carefully though.
Personally,I wouldnt do it for all the tea in China.(or all the migs in massive)
