The Scrappage scheme
« on: 13 May 2009, 08:34:41 »

I have a 99 CDX 66K in excellent condition, complete and working that is going to be scrapped. The dealer is only interested in my getting the vehicle to him in MOT condition. It has good tyres including Brand new(never been fitted on any car) spare, Radio with telephone and 6 cd player, excellent interior trim.  Seems a shame!!!
Any offers for any useable bits, would like to help out anyone who has torn trim or poor tyres, this has 4 reasonable to good alloys and tyres as well.

This is what is going to happen when this scrappage scheme is applied!  A good car, fully roadworthy, that has taken a lot of resource and energy to build, is now just going to be chucked away for what? :-? :-?

Barmy, bloody, political nonsense to appease the international dictate that is not based on 'saving the planet' at all, but really just to keep the car industry afloat is the real answer!

This gives politics a worse name that it already has!! >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:(
