A laugh in the dry world of politics...

I think this letter from a LibDem councillor to her party HQ is a real corker:

I particularly like the sign-off:

"For that reason I’ve cancelled my, already generous, standing order and when my membership expires in October the Party can sing for it.
Yours, with b***** all left to lose.

Yes Nick, a letter that sums it all up nicely for me :y :y :y.  The party 'machine', of not just the Lib-Dems, is full of utter tosh! ::) ::) ::) ::)

Things must indeed be bad when the scales are falling from the LD's ever so balanced eyes ;D ;D

Good for her, it's about time that there was some straight talk in this pious and rarefied field.

A well charged female and mother will always outdraw the thin-lipped verbal machinations from the likes of our dear Peter and others well practiced in the art of prattle ;) ;)
