Personally, having gone to considerable effort to insulate my house & fitted solar heating as well, I would not mind seeing a thermal image of it so that I could identify where further work was required

Certainly, the aim of the scheme is good. However, surely the common sense approach would not be to hire a plane costing thousands a time whilst probably producing more pollution than the scheme will actually save, but have environmental officers doing the rounds in a more green and less expensive manner?

I dont have any issues with the cause, but it does anger me a bit to think all the money we pay them gets spent as carelessly and unproductively as this.
