dongle and bluetooth

im with three network and my allowance on the dongle ran out earlier so ive plugged the bluetooth in and running internet from my mobile now. cant believe its going so much faster than using the dongle, any ideas why ???

Because the 3 network is universally accepted as shite perhaps?

Ignoring that minor factor though, net access through dedicated dongles versus access through the mobile handset are two completely different animals.

considering most of my mates are on orange and o2, i seem to be the one whos always got the better network connection round here, ive been with them since they started and would never change to anyone else.

im wondering why my connection is faster bluetoothing it through my mobile rather that going direct through the broadband dongle. should it not be faster the other way round??

Not sure what 3 use, but there are different flavours of "3G" with different speeds. Possibly the phone supports 3.5G and the dongle doesn'r
