Multi or additional car ins. policies.
« on: 08 September 2009, 20:04:03 »

Thinking of buying a cheapie denzil Pug tractor to do the Sussex run to keep fuel & tyre wear down on the Beastie but a 2nd car incurs no claims issues. Admiral are advertising a multicar policy so i thought i'd enquire.
I might as well have been peeing into the wind. Nearly half an hour listening to Elton hissy fit John (that was enough on it's own) only to be quoted on both cars individually. When i questioned his reply i was told "no one does that now sir". So why do they advertise it? Any ins co will insure two cars & in essense that's all you get from Admiral...Trade descriptions?
I guess they've got a clause in the small print somewhere.

They sold me a multi-car policy last year for Annette's Astra, my Astra & the Omega. It's due soon, so we'll see how competitive it is this year.

PS Annette loved the text!!  ;D  ;D  ;D  ;D

I was thinking about putting my VTI Honda back on the road and asked them for a multi quote and was quoted £60 cheaper for the two than what i pay now for my Omega! :o

I have a multi car policy with them.  £471 last year, £400 this year.

They insure each car on it's own policy (you might change one - so make life easier)  discounts make the policy viable.

My Elite main car is £200 with FNCD

GLS is same price but only a 2.5 base model, but started last year with no discount at all.

A quote for the Elite alone last year off all companies could not better £305

No hassle from them, main discount is created by  paying in full at the start, not allways possible for some.
