The fact remains, was their any need to?
Was there any need to add that particular word in the first place?

As for intentionally doing it, I use what some consider to be expletives every day of the week.....why should I change just because I'm writing it as opposed to saying it to someone's face?

Assumptions again.

As already stated, the word was not added, its the software default.
