That's one thing i don't ike about insurance companies. They have the option of the car that you own lives or dies.
I know once you've been paid out the car belongs to them & sometimes you have the option to buy it back.
My mate has a 1983 Rover SDTurbo that he's had since he was sixteen & he's now 38. It got written off in an accident with a Meastro that pulled out of a juction. He was heart broken, but he bought it back, had it all jigged out & she still lives :y

LZ's went in for a new wing and rear bumper that got written off..... think even small punts will write most Omegas off now.

Indeed Tunnie :'( :'( :'( :'(

However my case involved a rear wing which I understand is harder to replace and costs more.  I hope anyway that this case is different ;) ;).

Too many of our prized miggies are departing!!! :'( :'(

Mine was written off for a wing, bumper & bonnet.

I just wanted it checking to see if it was worth repairing.

Cost me £450 to get repaired.

And it is still Cat C >:( >:( >:( >:(
