Got ramed in a car park
« on: 11 March 2010, 11:56:10 »

As I was at the Coastguards last night for training I got called out to the car park,  a neighbour with a Nissan Navara had reversed into my car, >:(
He had a little dent in the rear wing on his and my frontend is fuba.  But he owned up( Might have something to do with 6 coastguards as witnesses ) and sorted out a body shop to get it repaired.
so my mini mig is now in the body shop getting repaired at his cost.
I can only see the damage from the outside not what its like under the bonnet as I could not get it open.
so I get my car back on saterday.

It would not be such a big problem but I have Mot on thursday.
here is a couple of pics.

Sorry that the pics are so big.

Ouch!  That's not a very gentle nudge.  Massive plus having the other party cough to it.

I hope it comes back pristine. :y

Not nice .. but.. at a guess .. mostly "cosmetic" as there's not a lot of "structure" in that area.  Decent body shop should get it sorted so you wouldn't know it had happened ..  :y :y :y

At least you have it sorted .. I'm still arguing with the insurers from November !!

Everyone speaks very highly of the body shop where it is, so I will have to wait for saterday to have a good look at how its turned out. I will post pics of the repair.
The funny thing is the lights are still in the correct possition. and the fob stoped working. ( got the fob synct again )
