I've heard if effects different people differently.
I would be tempted for a taxi home from your 1st appointment till you know how it affects you.

Never heard of accupuncture causing drowsiness.  The combined physioterrorism and accupuncture may tire you out but accupuncture is relaxing if anything, I have fallen asleep many times during treatments because I was just lying there but afterwards I was not drowsy or was i impaired in anyway.

Your choice but it sounds like a generic cop-out statement designed to cover their arses  :y

says it in the leaflet, i also have to sign a form as well as answer 13 questions. i have to rest for 15mins as i may become drowsy or tired and could affect my driving. my driving should be ok as i wont have a female in the passenger seat  ::) ::) ;D

I had acupuncture treatment on my spine for 6 months in 1999 (privately at £25/half hour, not availlable then on NHS). It gave me some limited relief but it was very short lasting. Everyone will react differently depending on their injury, but you should have no trouble using the car at all. :y
