A Great Happy Ending
« on: 16 March 2010, 17:34:18 »

I have been so happy today in the knowledge that the five year old British boy Sahil Saeed has been found safe and well in Pakistan :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

A real happy ending for once amongst the usual depressing news generally. 8-) 8-)

However, I have this awful feeling that there could be still some serious questions to be asked surrounding the circumstances of Sahil Saeed kidnap. :( :(  I hope I am wrong! :P :P

Glad the lad is safe, I think he always was .. .. but a very dodgy story IMHO .... :(

Whats the betting it was an "arranged" kidnap hoping some kind person would shell out to get the lad released ???  :(

That's my take on it ..

Correct me if im wrong, but the jist I heard on radio 1 earlier is:

1.) The parents have denied they're family had anything to do with it (smoke, fire anyone?)

2.) The father left Pakistan against the local authorities wishes. Hmmm, my sons been kidnapped but it will cost a fortune to get home if I have to change my flight details.

3.) The authorities now don't know who to give the child to (as the father is not there)

This story has got legs. I can see something big coming in the News Of the World this Sunday

I'm sorry to be skeptical, but the general opinion in my industry (security) is that there is a bad smell about this, it wouldn't be the first time two sections of an asian or pakistani family (husbands and wifes respective family) has used "kidnap" as a way of extorting money out of the other, or even in some circumstances used it as a way of "raising money for other things".
I'm not saying for a minute this is the case, but makes you think..................Glad he is unharmed and ok though.
