The faux election campaign
« on: 10 April 2010, 17:30:18 »

So, we've been through a whole week of pretty meaningless proposals from the three main parties, topped off by the pointless £3 per week tax break proposed by the Tories for married couples. As stated in this well-written blog to which I link below, they seem to dance around the big issues, carefully avoiding the real dangers of ever-rising energy costs, the EU and unemployment.

We need, in my view, to confront these issues as, until they are, we can only go downhill.  :(

The populous is being given very little choice. No wonder the smaller parties are gaining traction.  :y

For the first time ever, I am seriously thinking of giving it a miss. It may affect the country as a whole, but as far as I'm concerned, for all the difference it will make to me personally, it's not worth the hassle.
