So, we've been through a whole week of pretty meaningless proposals from the three main parties, topped off by the pointless £3 per week tax break proposed by the Tories for married couples. As stated in this well-written blog to which I link below, they seem to dance around the big issues, carefully avoiding the real dangers of ever-rising energy costs, the EU and unemployment.

We need, in my view, to confront these issues as, until they are, we can only go downhill.   

The populous is being given very little choice. No wonder the smaller parties are gaining traction.
