Cooked rice left too long can have issues agreed, as can iffy takeaways, however i've used this place when i can't be bothered to cook for over 8 years now & all's good! :y

More than that Guy! You must trust that there is no bacteria on the rice ::) ::) ::)

As others have touched on old rice is never a good idea.  Rice is more dangerous than poultry for breading bacteria.
The generation time of bacteria is just 15 minutes, with the nasty things doubling their number every 15 minutes!! :o :o :o

It is often the case that people blame the chicken for a dodgy stomach after eating from a buffet laid out for some time, especially when the air temperature is high, when usually it is the rice that has sent them to the small room! :P :P :P :P

 ;) ;)

Reading this has got me hungry ..........
:D

So, it's into the kitchen post haste, and I'll warm-up the roast spuds that I noticed are left-over from today's lovely Sunday lunch for me supper. This little feast'll then be washed-down with a bottle (or two), of the favoured Newcastle Brown Ale.
A 'digestive aid' you understand!
 :D

Good ol' Mrs Sethsmate!
