ON THE WAY TO WORK TODAY.....
« on: 06 July 2010, 10:14:51 »

Nice day, so went to work on my bike. Zooming down the M5 spotted a Miggy ahead of me in bright yellow, so had to take a look-see.( Unfortunately, no pictures, as on my bike), but had 19" 5 spoke wheels, blacked out windows, was a 51 plate (RJ51***) twin 3" exhausts out the back and lowered 60mm. Lots of small subtle touches like twin front fogs each side, and LED rear lights with zillions of tiny leds in original fittings. Twin chrome cheesegrater grille made from what looks like tubing, but quite nice..... and a large hump in the bonnet with twin air filters showing.
Lastly, a sticker on the back that said  "NSRA" and very noisy, could hear the engine even with a good helmet on.

INTERESTING.....YES????

Anybody know this person?

Update....

NSRA turns out to be "National Street Rod Association"

so assume tasty engine/box combo. with LSD and suspension.

OK......found him stopped at the lights today, same time (perhaps he works close???) Its a 3.2 V6 with NOS!!

Getrag 'box, LSD from ex-plod and exhaust from Longlife in yate, twin pipe setup from manifold back. Claims it does 6 secs to 100 with gas, but didnt have much time to talk cos on my bike. Nice bloke, not on OOF, but aparently "guests" in for info. Thought Zulu77 was a lady cos of the avatar!! (put him right, Zulu....)

About to put a corvette engine in the miggy for santa pod action, lives in Stroud somewhere. dunno anything else.

mmm.........have seen him TWICE at the same time, in roughly the same place in BRISTOL, seems unlikely to be the same man. However............you never know, and it was defo a VX 3.2 with NOS at the mo, only too happy to tell me.
Pity I was on my bike, would have taken a few phonecam piccies and persuaded him to do a bit of a feature. the engineering (what I could see of it) was excellant and the enthusiasm of the man for his car was great.

bit of an animal!!
