How the bloody hell is he back competing 6 weeks after braking a fibia? He was testing a week ago. :o
And did you see the gyroscopic camera footage from the back of his bike at the sachsenring ? Absolutely psychotic level of commitment hanging the back out in the middle of a triple apex left hander at over 50 degrees of lean angle. The camera stays level so you really see the bike cranked over like never before.

Also brings home how poorly tv conveys the impression of speed. Head on shots and close ups. Rubbish. Put us on board.

As a Motorcyclist of over 30 years experience, IMHO Valentino Rossi in terms of skill, committment and technique is about as good as it gets, and deserves all due praise.

However, I spent over 2 and a half years in hospital from 17 to 19 and a half y.o. after a motorcycle crash , and think it was a little foolhardy racing so soon after a fibia break. HAD he crashed out, the resulting injury would have been worse, and kept him out of the complete season, as well as perhaps given him a permanent limp and predujiced his complete career?

Still think he is a god, though.

Goes without saying six, they all do it when injured and come back too early. Rossi himself said maybe us riders are a little crazy. A little? They dont think like the rest of us. Don't think he can win the championship now anyway, unless Lorenzo does the same and injures himself too.

Good spot weds, the clip I saw he had a big slide in the middle of that triple left and carried on like nothing happened. I'd have been off for a long lie down after.
Incredible shots IMO. Wow!

It was spectacular to watch him even though he only got 4th.  I don't blame him for not using his left leg to block Stoner from passing on the last lap.

Great to see him back!
