dead but not forgotten
« on: 22 July 2010, 22:29:54 »

my 3 and a half year old battery died on me on tuesday and i thought another 75 quid out of the withering bank account. but i then noticed it said 4 year warranty on the side sticker so tried to find the long lost receipt -to no avail.
then my missus said look at your bank account and do a search for a halfords debit and see what comes up....... bonus, there it was purchased on feb 17th 2007 !!!! so with the evidence on the i phone i got it exchanged without too much grief.
the moral of the story is keep all receipts or bank with lloydstsb and buy an iphone......... ;) :D
