What sort of insurance do you have? Motor trade insurance, or was the car privately insured? Are you comp, or tpo?
If tpo get the work done yourself, and then claim it back. If comp just leave it until they sort it for you.

FYI I had adriver hit me and drive off, after causing minor damage. I took his number and reported it to the police, who gave me his address! I got a quote for the repair and sent it to him, and had a
cheque for the cost by return.

If you have reported it to the police, it does put you on stronger ground.

Noticed earlier, after this has gone on, have got the wheel wobble as mentioned, for some reason I turned the radio off earlier, can here a suspension knock now too. This won't be bloody cheap.
