I'm just wondering if you have received my last P.M.?

The parts you requested have been removed from my engine and are ready to be dispatched.

I await your instructions...

Oh yes, your right... The little envelope icon, when you hover over it it says the recipient opened the message, I've never noticed that before, thanks.

Now I'm worried though as the message has been received, I hope I haven't started to strip my engine for no reason...

It does happen a lot unfortunately, if there's alot of work involved to get the parts take a deposit  ;)

Stick the parts on ebay. Pain in the backside, but they will sell. Omega owners always need lots of parts. :y ::)

I have put a few pieces on the bay, just because they are in the way, but not the parts requested by 'Knight 3179'.

He hasn't been on-line for a few days, so I will give him the benefit of the doubt (I hope nothing 'bad' has happened to him...) The last p.m. received from him said payment would be sent on Sunday.

I guess I am too trusting.

I had a stereo sat around from when I broke a car at the begining of June, someone off here said they wanted it and a few other bits so I put them to one side. The pm's have dried up now so I sold it on Ebay last week and got more for it ;)

You have just cancelled my payment request.
Have you not the decency to get in touch with me?

Dear Richard,
A***** G***** (*********@hotmail.com) cancelled the following money request:
-----------------------------------
Money request details
-----------------------------------
Amount: £120.00 GBP
Date: 11 Sep 2010
Subject: PayPal money request from Richard Roberts
Note: Omega engine parts.
Yours sincerely,
PayPal

I wouldn't mind but you took it upon yourself to get in touch with me, you suggested how much you wanted to pay, have you got the parts from elsewhere or have you decided you no longer need them?

Engines sold or broken i take it?or a pig to get out?

No Mate, the engines not sold... The aux belt snapped on me in the middle of no-where (the car was switched off immediately the battery light came on, so no danger of it having overheated), I replaced it only for the aux. tensioner to fail also, the whole process stretched out over two days and ended up with the car being recovered back home, plus I had to walk for ten miles, so I just sort of lost interest in the car. I'm only breaking it because the rear quarter has been replaced at some point and this is now starting to rust along the upper edges of the join...
I have an engine hoist here and removal shouldn't be a problem, I was hoping to sell the engine and auto box complete, for £300. That price is assuming you will be here to help with its removal and then take it away.
Cheers, Rich.

Engine might be ok,could do with the cam covers if you decide to break up the engine, mine caught fire from oil leakin on exhaust,so might've damaged the cam covers, also a working passenger headlamp, hid type i think, rear boot omega and vauxhall badges, and the emblem for the boot badge, thats just for starters, not had long to look at it,so prob need alot more
as said unsure about engine, more ivestigation needed before i go into the mammoth job of changing it,
cheers

No problems, Mate. I will make a note of your requirements and wait for you to get back to me. I would obviously prefer to sell the engine complete but if I do strip it then I will let you know...
Cheers, Rich.

Hiya Mate, sorry to bother you, but I have decided I may as well start to strip the engine, it doesn't look like I am going to be able to sell the engine and transmission complete and the car needs to go.
I'm trying to find the messages we have already exchanged but they seem to have vanished, any chance you can confirm the parts you require, also I seem to remember you saying you have experience with delivery costs, with this in mind I would like you to work out a total price that you would be willing to pay for the parts you require, and have them delivered to you.
Cheers, Rich.

DIS pack if yours is good(w/out Leads) £30
idle control whatsit off the plenum £15
MAF £20 - 25

Hi Jason, I've started to strip the engine and have taken off the following parts so far...
Cam Covers
Idle control valve
MAF sensor
EGR valve
With the prices you suggested those items come to £85

The dis pack is virtually brand new, the previous owner did say it had been replaced but I didn't mention it because I assumed it would be a cheap pattern part, it is however a Bosch item and does look in extremely good condition, it has done less than 5,000 miles.
Also the fuel rail... do you want the whole manifold complete with injectors, fuel rail and wiring harness??
How about another £85 for the dispack and complete inlet manifold.
I await your instructions...
Cheers Richard.

For first shipping i'll need cam covers and dis pack and Icv & Maf
Can you see if this can be done for about £120 all in?
That makes it £30 for covers £30 for dispack and 20 each for other two,£20 postage
And please check and check again the covers for warping
if this is ok i'll get it paid tonight or tommorow morning at the latest
